Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears dull brown sweaters, loose blue pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed greatsword, just in case. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His white hair is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. The war was a terrible time for him, and Efferil does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a green deerstalker hat and green clothes. He wears his auburn hair up in a very large beehive style do. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He tends to his Barkeep job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he is dressed in earthy colors with a black and green handkerchief worn on his left side. His brown hair is cut short. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Varis is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
