History: Paelias hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Mindartis liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a great chef.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Ivellios was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to find somewhere to settle down
