Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Fivin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Fivin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Rael abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Courier born in the past three hundred years. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He's also a talented Gardener, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Elven artifacts is his passion; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was born into a rich family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Adran was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
