History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his father's many stories. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. During his travels, Varis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Varis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Varis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Priest kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Born to a Animal Trainer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Animal Trainer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

His amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He takes great joy in being the best Detective in town.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To be a Merchant again; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: He is wearing a long, brown, dusty cloak, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 4'11" when asserting himself. He is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around his ears. This hazel eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Servant. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Servant for the past few years.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and a deep hatred of gnolls
