He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Gennal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance.
