After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bounty Hunter, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
