History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Korfel was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Korfel's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Korfel and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Mindartis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mindartis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
