History: Berrian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Tharivol was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Knight mother left him crippled. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Knight. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away
