History: Raer was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To unite with his sister.

History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Ahvain was born on a far eastern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Actor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and many brigands want him driven away
