History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is greedy

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Varis has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Scribe, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
