He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Theren never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. After months of barely getting by, Carrie managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
