History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sculptor arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. After coming to the age of reason, Aelar took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Heian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Heian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and many gnolls want him driven away
