History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Laucian hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Laucian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Laucian fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: This malnourished man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Lucan hails from a village terrorized by illithids. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Lucan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Heian's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Heian was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heian's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
