Soveliss's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Halimath was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Brewer. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
