History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Aerdeth was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rael fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
