History: Peren was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His childhood dream was to be a Crown-heir, but he was a colossal failure. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His first spouse was a Miller, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He got into the Ruler business at a young age. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Aust was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he is typically in his Detective uniform. His white hair is knotted and matted. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: He was born in a small plains village. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To be a Bricklayer again; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is dressed in an above average manner. He has a silver handlebar mustache and slicked back silver hair. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Enialis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Enialis. Being a Tailor kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
