History: Ahvain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Korfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Korfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. Aerdeth is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Aerdeth was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Dyer, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
