History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Paelias abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Thervan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He worked as a nervous Adventurer and found it very stressful. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Koeth was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.
