Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a Healer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has been helping groups of widows and orphans who have fled abusive spouses or lost their families to giants.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He seeks to pay back kindness whenever he gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip he always seeks to do solids for his friends.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Halimath took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he has decided he is irredeemable
