History: He was born in the west. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Soveliss enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Carrie hails from a village terrorized by orcs. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Brewer business at a young age. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fivin grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fivin. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Brewer for the past few years.
