History: Mindartis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Mindartis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of a Soapmaker, who enjoyed hunting, Gennal was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He has worked as a Dilettante like his father before him.

History: The child of a Mayor, who enjoyed hunting, Naal was taken on many hunting expeditions. Naal liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now owns his own business.
