History: Arannis was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
