History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During his travels, Hadarai and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hadarai discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hadarai fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Efferil took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. He bought a club and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
