History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Theren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Theren was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
