History: Born in the west to a Doctor, Quarion learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aelar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aelar. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
