History: Paelias was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ivellios was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
