History: Born in the south to a Painter, Arannis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. During his travels, Arannis and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Arannis discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
