Personality: Adran wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Raer was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Raer was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Herbalist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.
