History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Laucian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Laucian. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. After a long history of fighting, Mindartis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Raer learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
