He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Theren's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. Theren is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He got into the Jeweler business at a young age. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Jeweler.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this southern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Uthemar was born with his mother's beautiful face. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Uthemar grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Uthemar. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Vanuath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a Mercenary first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Nutae was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
