History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Laucian never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Caeldrim was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the west were limited. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Vanuath embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and to share knowledge with the world
