Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Aerdeth is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his father struggled to pay the bills. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He got into the Bellfounder business at a young age. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He struck the Bellfounder job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lucan grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lucan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Tharivol lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Tharivol abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and balancing his hectic life and new shoemaker responsibilities is difficult
