History: Born in the west to a Tanner, Paelias learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 7 years.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spice Merchant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
