History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bounty Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Laucian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
