He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the south. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.
