Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Architect arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. After a long history of fighting, Varis and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Carrie was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His silver hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and doesn't want to be a bellfounder and was forced into it by his family
