History: Paelias lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears a grey vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His red leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his grey boots flare out at the collars. He keeps his black hair in a pixie cut. His gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sage born in the past three hundred years. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Riardon grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Riardon. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
