History: Born in the east to a Apothecary, Laucian learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Laucian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Laucian. He struck the Apothecary job and began his own company from there.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
