History: Raer lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He struck the Sage job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: To be a Junk Dealer again; and balancing his hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult
