Peren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Peren. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Nim began to lead the lost caravan. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Born to a Mason, his father struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Elves in the east were limited. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: Nim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He's also a talented Fletcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
