History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Paelias abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has taken up work as a Guard and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
