History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in glaive use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shipwright and was forced into it by his family.
