History: Theren was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Theren was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Fortune-teller. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second son.

He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Aust began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
