Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Heian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born in the west. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Map Maker but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Map Maker for the past few years.
