History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Lucan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright.
