When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy silver hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Aust was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Aust's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Peren was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He became a Barrister soon after.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heian grew up listening to his father's many stories. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Heian has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
