Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Erdan enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
