History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Naal grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. During his travels, Naal and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Naal discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Naal fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
