The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Lamlis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Barber, Rolen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. His addictions have taken their toll on his wallet, and he has found himself with a great deal of debt owed.
