His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Heian is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Halimath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Halimath was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. Naal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
